Information ShortAtlas stores

ShortAtlas stores anonymous analytics events to count daily visitors, total visitors, page views, and ticker views. The site uses a first-party cookie named sa_vid to recognize the same browser or device for aggregate counting.

ShortAtlas does not intentionally store names, email addresses, account credentials, IP addresses, or full user-agent strings in its analytics database.

Cookies and analytics

The sa_vid cookie is used only for aggregate visitor and ticker-view counting. Clearing cookies or using a different browser may create a new anonymous visitor count.

The site may also use infrastructure and analytics services from Cloudflare to operate, secure, and measure the website.

Advertising disclosures

If Google AdSense or other advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads on this site.

Users can manage Google ad personalization through Google's ad settings. Advertising implementation will be kept separate from editorial data and will not change ShortAtlas methodology or ticker results.
